independent record label specializing
in the promotion of live, local
music.
• Red Tide Records does all
their own promotion for live shows
and events through such avenues
as radio, newspaper, flyers, posters,
and mailing lists. For larger shows
and events, Red Tide Records will
also purchase ad space and release
press releases to the appropriate
sources.
• Since the company’s
inception in March of 2006, Red
Tide Records has gotten media coverage
from the Cape Coral Daily Breeze
and Gulf Coast Times newspapers
and plans on seeking coverage from
many more outlets in the near future.
• As a result of the company’s
very large presence on the Internet,
Red Tide Records has access to venues,
indie-music professionals and musicians
all over the country and continuously
strives to expand those connections.
• Red Tide Records has a very
rigorous screening process that
all acts must go through before
being promoted by the company. They
must have an established following
and perform to an increasingly high
standard, as the focus of Red Tide
Records is live music.
Why become a Red Tide Records
Sponsor?
Red
Tide Records is currently in the
process of organizing a six to eight
week tour of the entire Eastern
Seaboard of the United States from
Florida to Maine. The tour will
consist of six bands, three of which
will be from Florida and the other
three will be from areas surrounding
each of the tour’s stops.
Tour stops will be every 1-3 days
in major metropolitan areas along
the eastern U.S.
Red Tide Records is not seeking
sponsorship in the form of monetary
compensation. While cash donations
in the form of patronage are always
appreciated, we are hoping instead
to trade advertising space for goods
and services. This will result in
less out-of-pocket costs for business
owners while providing Red Tide
Records with the essentials needed
to manage an effective tour.
All companies that become a business
development partner with Red Tide
Records will have their company’s
logo displayed on the official Red
Tide Records RV. Companies providing
the most assistance will have the
most prominently displayed logos.
Not only will partnering companies
gain recognition from everyone participating
in the tour and those attending
the shows, but they will also have
the opportunity to be seen on a
27’ traveling billboard and
have their name introduced to countless
potential new customers. For local
companies, this could mean unprecedented
exposure that would otherwise be
next to impossible for the typical
small business owner. For larger
companies, this could be a relatively
low cost way to promote your brand
and take part in a new and exciting
marketing strategy, while potentially
